From President's Desk...

Dear Friends,

We are on a never ending journey for a better tomorrow. I would like to convey my sincere thanks to the Former Presidents, out Going Executive Committee Team 2015-16, whom I call “achievers” for creating milestones and for having fulfilled their aims and objectives.

This year 2016-17, we have prepared and analyzed work plans, strategies, located challenges, anticipated goals and vision for the 365 days given to us and for that we have to bring laurels to our Chamber. We have slogan for this year endeavor which reads      “Goals Beyond Expectations” to create a new milestone for the Chamber, for our State in particular and for the Country as a whole.

It is essential and vital for all of us to work as a team with unity, be honest and sincere to the post and chair, work vigorously to achieve the results and most important to stay away from politics and invest time in achieving goals. It is very necessary to bring everybody closer, give attention to all members equally and to address their problems and suggestions at proper forum. Industry, Trade & Commerce is what we all belong to. We have to keep its development, its prosperity and survival at the top priority.

RCCI, was established in the year 1962, year after year and has completed its 54 years of glorious existence, this is its strength. All the Former Presidents, gave a trust, a momentum and a strong leadership to this Chamber. The organization grew from a mere 30-40 members to the strength of 900 as of now.

Presently, the Industrial Scenario is not encouraging specially in Steel sector, the market is not supporting the Industrialists. We need to address their issues and find out ways for their survival and also to look into their problems very sincerely. The traders also face problems relating to their business activities as well as rules and regulations framed by the Government. We are to tackle all the issues with the concerned officials and the Government from time to time.

The I.T sector needs attention, the transporters problems in which we have to work for their grievances, look into friendly relationship with Industries. We need to focus in the field of organizing workshops, seminars in the coming days to expand, to make awareness programs declared by the Government for better prospects ahead.

We need to focus on the Railways, Civic Amenities, Electricity, BSNL, Municipality and other areas of general public for a better, peaceful & healthy life in the society.

We must believe that “Success is an ongoing journey and can never be a destination”.
